Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA), a signatory of SoO with the Governments under KNO and an entity of the Tripartite Political Talks with the State and Centre Government, has categorically clarified over the alleged assaulted of Molhoi villagers at Leimakhong on the evening of July 31 .
The Information and Publicity Secretary of the outfit , T Simte, clarified that the alleged assaulted on Molhoi villagers was an unintentional incident and stated that on learning about the incident, the organization investigated the matter seriously and found that the incident occurred among some KRA cadres at a vendor and Molhoi villagers only at a personal level and in no part link with the outfit .
He further pointed out that the cadres involved in the incident were summoned and befitting punishments have been served upon them for creating disturbance in public place .
He also appealed to the public, particularly the people of Leimakhong and Molhoi village, not to be misguided by false and fabricated reports.
