Imphal, October 31 2015 :
As a step to ensure free and fair election procedure in the upcoming Union election of colleges scheduled to be held on November 2, six students bodies namely AMSU, MSF, KSA, SUK, DESAM and AIMS who came together for a second round of sitting at the office of the Imphal West district police SP, constituted a joint Monitoring Cell Unit College Student's Union election 2015-16.Appealing students to support the unit in ensuring peace during union polls, it warned candidates and workers against the system of voter pickups, distribution of money, arranging feasts, camping, seizure of ID from students.
