BT road shop owners staged sit-in-protest

Imphal, August 28 2014:
Stating that imposition of ban on parking of two-wheeler vehicles on BT Road has severely affected their business, BT Road Shop Owners Welfare Association has threatened to clamp bandh if two-wheelers are not permitted parking on the road within the next ten days.

The association, in this regard, staged a sit-in-protest in front of Gambhir Singh Shopping Arcade today.
Talking to mediapersons, association advisor Thokchom Surchandra questioned the ban on two-wheelers parking around BT road area, while the same is allowed on other busy streets of Imphal market.
