Kakching, March 28 2017:
The dead body of the Cruiser driver who lost his life in a tragic accident that took place along Imphal-Jiribam road yesterday has been sent back to his native village for the last rites after post mortem at JNIMS morgue.
The deceased has been identified as Oinam Shamananda @ Shyam s/o Binod of Nayagram, Cachar in Assam.
The body was sent back to the deceased's village with the help of drivers of passenger vehicles plying along the road.
Shamananda was a member of All Manipur Road Transport and Motor Workers' Union.
