Jiribam, February 24 2017:
NSCN/GPRN has expressed concern for people living in Naga inhabited areas in Manipur stating that many under the chairmanship of village authorities particularly in hill districts have taken the practise of declaring support to a particular candidate and declaring that no individual would be allowed to go against the decision of the village authorities, conveyed a press release issued by Ministry of Information & Publicity secretary NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) Southern Nagaland.
The body conducting the election exercise must be impartial, transparent and able to enforce the ECI rules and all parties and candidates should be treated equally without discrimination or favoritism, it added.
