Imphal, July 31 2015 :
Pledging support to the ongoing pro-ILPS movement, Teachers' and Medical Officers' Association (TAMOA) of RIMS has urged the general public not to hinder movement of medical staff during bandhs and general strikes.
In a statement, the association said that medical staff have been rendering service to the public day and night.
In case hospitals are closed due to harassment meted out to medical staff by bandh supporters, people would suffer, the statement said.
The association also urged the public not to attack ambulance vehicles during bandhs and general strikes.
