National seminar held

A National Seminar on 'North East Writing in English: A Response to Post-Colonial Social and Political Conflict' was conducted by the department of English DBC, Maram today at Don Bosco College, Maram .
The programme was co-sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research, NERC, Shillong and Directorate of Higher Education, Government Of Manipur .
The two seminar which began yesterday concluded today .
The inaugural programme was graced by president of NPO Kamba Moses as chief guest and president of Senapati district Debate Society Liba Hopeson as the guest of honour .
The seminar was participated by seven colleges of North East region including St Joseph College, Jakhama, Salesian College, Dimapur, Don Bosco College Golaghat, Assam, Don Bosco College, Kohima, Mt Pisgah College, Senapati, Mt Everest College, Senapati and Don Bosco College, Maram .
The seminar brought together many colleges in sharing cultural differences as a reason to celebrate, as North Eastern States are known for its diversed culture.
