Imphal, April 21 2013:
Endorsing the decision of the Chandel Naga Peoples' Organisation (CNPO), as adopted in its April 2 meeting, the Naga Women Union has appealed to the Government of Manipur not to keep surrendered KYKL (MDF) cadres at 20 Battalion Assam Rifles, Chandel headquarters.
A press release issued by the NWU urged the Government to rehabilitate the valley based surrendered cadres in the valley areas and not in the hill districts.
