Thoubal, May 18 2022: A team of Kakching police arrested one woman along with 2.25 kgs of opium from Serou Lamkhai, today.

The woman has been identified as Tinneilam Haokip (39), w/o Late Satlam Haokip of Tonglal village in Churachandpur district.

As per sources, the police also apprehended one juvenile who came along with Tinneilam Haokip on a two-wheeler vehicle by observing formalities.

From them, Rs 3,00,220 in cash was also seized.

The woman and the juvenile have been handed over to Sugnu police station.
