Consumers found indulging in illegal activities

Imphal, May 08 2015 :
Five consumers have been pulled up on Friday for illegal tapping/by-passing energy meter as per Electricity Act 2003.In the continuing MSPDCL drives against consumers indulging in illegal activities, in and around Keishamthong Kabui Khun, Yaiskul Police Lane and Keishamthong Longjam Leirak these persons were pulled up.
According to a press release issued by MSPDCL Deputy General Manager, T Ibochouba, five consumers were pulled up and a total amount of Rs 61,691 were imposed as fine against them.
However no names of the defaulters were disclosed by MSPDCL.
