Imphal, August 07 2011:
All Tribal Disables' Union Manipur (ATDUM) submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister demanding special concession/relaxation in eligibility criteria and pass mark in Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for physically challenged persons.
The eligibility criteria for physically challenged persons has been fixed at 45 percent and pass mark at 50 percent which are equivalent with ST/SC categories.
So there is no relaxation for the physically challenged persons, it added.
The union also demanded for extension of last date of form submission and arrangement of separate exam centre for disables.
