Imphal, June 06 2016:
World Environment Day
was celebrated at CRPF
campus, Langjing on June
5, 2016 wherein more than
500 officers and men
planted 657 tree saplings.
The programme was organ-
ised by Vikram Sehgal,
DIG, CRPF in association
with PN Prasad, Principal
Chief Conservator of For-
est.
IG Vijay Kumar and
other senior officers of the
Forest Dept were also
present.
A nursery would be set
up in Langjing from where
CRPF men proceeding on
leave would be encouraged
to carry saplings home and
spread the green cover.
The
CRPF is committed to usher
in green and clean environment.
