Imphal, October 29 2011:
Drawing attention of the State Government regarding inconvenience being faced by school transporters due to fuel scarcity, All Manipur School Student's Transport Association (AMSSTA) has asserted that the association is likely to halt its service for some time if the Government does not make an elaborate arrangement by October 31 .
The association also urged the parents/guardians to bear with the inconvenience being faced by the school transporters.
Maintaining that the current arrangement of petrol distribution to school transporters is not adequate, the association added that the drivers have to buy petrol at Rs 150 per litre from black market to continue their service.
