Imphal, June 27 2011:
As in other parts of the country, members of All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) will join the protest over the delay in implementation of Wage Board notification along with wearing black badges at work tomorrow.
Announcing this in a statement, general secretary of AMWJUS Surjeswar Singh has appealed to all the non-journalist employees in media organisations to support the cause.
As part of the protest, all the Editors have also been appealed to leave their editorials blank tomorrow.
It is said that members of AMWJU as well as non-members may collect the black badges from the office of AMWJU at Manipur Press Club.
