Thoubal, November 18 2021: District AIDS Prevention & Control Unit (DAPCU) Thoubal under the sponsorship of Manipur State AIDS Control Society (MACS) Imphal on Thursday organised a one day workshop on 'Test, Treat and Positive Prevention for Persons Living With HIV (PLHIV)' at Training Hall, National Health Mission Thoubal.

It was attended by District AIDS Control Officer, DAPCU Thoubal in-charge and CMO Thoubal, Dr Y Nokul Singh as presidium member.

DAPCU Thoubal District Supervisor, Th Openkumar Singh; VIHAAN Project health promoter, P Shandyarani Devi and ITECH counsellor, Minarani Devi also took part in the programme as resource persons.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Y Nokul encouraged the PLHIVs to embrace a healthy lifestyle and elaborated on HIV/AIDS preventive measures.

Later, an interaction session was also conducted.
