Imphal, August 13 2014 :
Voluntary nurses who have been engaged in RIMS in the wake of the cease work strike launched by the RIMS Nurses Association Lamphelpat (RNAL) which has now been suspended have categorically clarified that they reserve no right to go on any form of strike.
Speaking to The Sangai Express today, the voluntary nurses said they have been projected in the wrong light by some elements with an intention to create misunderstanding with RIMS authority.
"We volunteered to serve patients and pull out RIMS from the crisis which engulfed the medical institution in the wake of RNAL's cease work strike", said one of them.
"We would still like to serve patients voluntarily yet we have no intention to challenge or forfeit somebody's right", they added.
