Ningthoukhong Municipal Council to enforce new traffic rules from July 10

Bishnupur, July 08 2019: Ningthoukhong Municipal Council is enforcing new parking/traffic rules in its area from July 10, said its Chairperson L Ibungo Singh today.

The new rules will affect all passenger vehicles operating in the area, he said speaking to media persons at the office of the Municipal Council.

The step was necessary to control accident and ease traffic, the Chairperson said while informing that speed limit in bazar area is restricted to 25 km per hour.

Violaters will be given tickets and fined as per law, he said appealing all to abide by the traffic rules for their own safety.
