Imphal, May 07 2011:
Yarra, a traditional festival of Tangkhul community was celebrated for three days at Yidah village located in Kamjong sub-division of Ukhrul district.
The festival is marked by sharing and feasting among the villagers divided into batches according to age.
The festival which was celebrated from May 5 to May 7 also featured cultural dance and music items as well as competition in different sport disciplines.
