Jiribam, December 05 2012:
In the light of the 'present scenario' and perception confronted by 'national workers,' the underground United Tribals' Liberation Army (UTLA) has issued clarion call to all so-called national workers operating in the State to forgive and forget past indiscretions and indifferences in the spirit of solidarity for a brighter prospective.
In a statement, UTLA chairman, SK Thadou has appealed all 'national workers' underground and overground, of the State to retrospect into the past and shun the path of factional enmity.
The UTLA chairman also appealed all concerned to realise the futility of factional killings in the name of national struggle while adding that factional enmity holds nothing worthwhile in the political struggle.
The statement further called all concerned to rejuvenate the bond of brotherhood so as to liberate the people from the shackles of fraternal animosity and tread the path of peace and tranquillity which is the need of the hour.
