Festival wraps up

Imphal, October 05 2017:
The 24th Guru Kirtana Seva, a two day festival of Nata Sankirtana, organised by the Gulapi Nata Sankirtana Academy at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace Compound, wrapped up today.
Speaking at the event, Commissioner ( CAF and PD) K Radhakumar Singh said that Guru Shisya Parampara is an important part of the Manipur Culture Policy .
National Awardee, Saratchand Thiyam said that many of the unrest and tension prevalent in the State can be traced to lack of discipline and respect for teachers, Gurus and elders .
Station Director of All India Radio Imphal, Dilip Mayengbam, also attended the event as the president.
