Bharatiya Janata Party, Manipur Pradesh has strongly condemned disruption caused by the State police forces during the relay hunger strike at Hiyangthang Bazar today.
About 100 party workers led by party vice president Dr N Tombi Singh were launching a relay hunger strike protesting killing of Thangjam Manorama Devi in the custody of 17 Assam Rifles and prolong imposition of Armed Forces Special Powers Act, 1958 in Manipur this afternoon when personnel of Wangoi Police Station routed the agitators and detained all of them at the police station.
