Imphal, April 27 2016:
In a surprising incident, a snake meat was found
amongst smoked fishes at Wangjing
Sorokhaiba Leikai.
One Khundrakpam Romoni, w/o (L)
Achouba had purchased the smoked fishes
from a woman who had brought it from
Moreh.
While having dinner, Romoni's son came
across a piece of meat which looked similar
to that of Ngarin.
Upon observation,
Romoni's son found out that it was a snake
meat with its skin still intact.
In the past, there have been many reports
of vomiting and other illnesses after consuming food items brought from Myanmar.
