AMVDFWA condemns OC Sapormeina

Central Committee of All Manipur VDF Welfare Association (AMVDFWA) has condemned the Officer-in-Charge of Gamnom Sapormeina Police station for forcefully denying some VDF personnel from leaving their camp as part of the ongoing strike on Friday.
AMVDFWA Central Committee General Secretary Laltingen said that some VDF personnel at Gamnom Sapormeina Police Station left the station this morning but when the Officer-in-Charge was informed about the incident he forcefully hold up other VDF personnel at the station.
Laltingen said more than 20 VDF personnel were forcefully hold up at Gamnom Sapormeina Police Station by the Officer-in-Charge while only five of them were able to leave the station on Friday morning.
"We highly appreciate those officers who allowed our fellows to leave their respective camps without any disturbance while understanding our demands", said Laltingen.
