Banned wildlife products recovered

Imphal, February 16 2015:
24th Assam Rifles of 26 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) apprehended a woman along with illegal wildlife products on February 14 at Khudengthabi Check Post.
According to a statement of PRO IGAR (S), the woman identified as Haltkolin (70), wife of late Haiahunyam of Saikul was found carrying two python skulls worth Rs.30,000 while checking a passenger vehicle.
The recovered wildlife product was handed over to State Forest and Wildlife Department.
