Mid term CME

Academic Committee, Department of Medicine, RIMS conducted a mid-term CME (Continuing Medical Education) for East Zone Rheumatology Association at RIMS Jubilee hall today.
MLA E Dwijamani, RIMS Director Professor Ch Arunkumar, East Zone Rheumatology Association president Professor Sanjeeb Kaktai attended the event as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
Stating that people need to do away with the wont of blaming doctors, MLA E Dwijamani emphasised on the need for a threat free work environment for doctors.
Today's programme, he stated, would, hopefully, help bring development in the field of rheumatology.
Rheumatoid, if not treated in the early stages, can cause serious damage to a patient, Professor Sanjeeb Kakati stated.
RIMS director Arunkumar opined that the orthopaedics, rehabilitaion surgeons and physicians, if they worked together, can cure rheumatoid.
