Foot suspension bridge opened

Imphal, August 28 2015 :
Due to recent incessant rain and heavy floods, the border villages of Haolenphai, G Munnom and Sahei were cutoff from rest of Moreh town and NH-102 as the bailey bridge on Lokchao river was washed away on July 31 .
According to a statement issued by the PRO of IGAR (S), 11 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) reconstructed the foot suspension bridge on the Lokchao river and dedicated it to the public on August 26.Troops of the Assam Rifles constructed foot suspension bridge in a record time frame and provided the necessary link to the people of Haolenphai, G Munnom and Sahei.
