Imphal, October 15 2020:
The Sangaithel Road United Welfare Association (SRUWA) has resolved to ban transportation of sand and stones at Imphal Sangaithel Road by heavy trucks which do not possess Government permits.
A press release issued by SRUWA also asked all truck drivers who own Government permits to inform them in advance for transporting sand and stones at the said road.
It also urged all farmers to refrain from abandoning straw and leaving a trail of mud at the said road.
