Imphal, July 09 2017:
Secy of Education and Academic Affairs, DESAM, Paikhomba Wahengbam has stated in a press release that DESAM cannot help but be suspicious as the committee formed on June 3 this year to look into the irregularities in the HSLC exam of 2017 has done nothing so far even though it was supposed to submit its report within a year .
The suspicion is specially aroused by the inclusion of Ph Nandakumar Sharma, who is accused of being involved in earlier cases pertaining to BSEM in the inquiry committee.
But, DESAM still has faith in the Govt and said that the Govt should make public the findings of the committee within a year and anyone found guilty should be punished without any discrimination.
Otherwise, DESAM, along with the public and the students of the State will launch several agitations.
