Imphal, August 03 2011:
A 57-year old man got killed when the fencing wall of a petrol pump located in Tera area fell upon him at around 7 am today.
The victim identified as Maimom Nabachandra of Tera Wangthonbi Leirak was reportedly trying to draw water with an electric pumpset from a hydrant point close to the brick wall when the structure collapsed
on top of him.
Nabachandra died on the spot.
Holding the petrol pump owner for causing the dead as previous intimations to repair the fencing wall had been allegedly ignored locals storm the fuel outlet and went on the rampage before arrival of police teams prevented the situation from going out of hand.
