Dengue cases in Moreh declining

Moreh, December 01 2021:
The Dengue cases in Moreh have started to show declining trend days after its spread caused panic in the border town.
Due to the joint efforts of State Malaria Department and District Malaria Department along with Assistant Malaria Officer (AMO), Tengnoupal district Kamei Khamchungpu Rongmei and Malaria unit, Moreh, spread of the vector-borne disease is being gradually controlled.
Meanwhile, two new dengue cases were confirmed, one each from Moreh ward no 7 and Chikim village, on Wednesday.
Fogging and spraying of larvicide are being carried out at the Residences of dengue positive patients.
As of now, eight Dengue positive people are being treated at Sub-district hospital, Moreh.
