Imphal, April 21 2015 :
The United Committee Manipur (UCM) has appealed to the Aimol tribe to settle their internal problem amicably through negotiation instead of exposing their differences over their nomenclature in public.
In a statement, the UCM said that there is apprehension among the people over the likelihood occurrence of unwarranted incident between the pro-Naga group of Aimols and the other who claim to maintain the neutrality of the tribe in the backdrop of claims and counter claims over the issue.
The UCM also offered to lend any assistance to the tribe if needed so in sorting out their differences.
