Imphal, May 18 2022:
The armed National Revolutionary Front, Manipur (NRFM) has stated that it is unrelated with the bomb blast that occurred on May 12 evening near Durga Mandir, Khurai Telipati.
The bomb was exploded in a suspicious manner to portray revolutionary groups in the wrong light and the outfit considers such acts very seriously, an NRFM statement issued by its information and publicity secretary Sanajaoba Meitei said, adding that blast could have triggered public backlash and intensely debated had it claimed human lives.
The outfit also appealed to all concerned not to repeat such acts in future.
