Imphal, August 07, 2011:
The Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi (LNKR) of Imphal unit has rued that candidates hailing from smaller tribes in Manipur are at the receiving end in connection with the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) programme of the state government as they face options that are not favourable to them.
Since the dialects of these small tribes are not included in the TET programme, the Liangmai students' body urged the government to have English as the optional rather than languages and dialects of other communities.
