Thoubal, June 06 2017:
The recent incessant rainfall brought destruction in many parts of the State and 100 acres of land, crops, fisheries, rice fields worth Rs 50 lakh were damaged by overflowing of water bodies namely Ikop and Kharungpat under Hayel Hangoon Gram Panchayat, Thoubal district, conveyed a press release issued by Pradhan of Hayel Hangoon Gram Panchayat.
Considering the grievances of the people, he has urged the Department concerned to look into the matter and provide all possible relief measures to the victims.
