Imphal, April 27 2016:
Joint Students' Co-ordination Committee
(JSCC) has said that it will act accordingly if the demands of the
long suffering teachers of six Government aided colleges are not
fulfilled at the earliest.
In a statement, the committee said that it is unfortunate to
turn a deaf ear to the demands of the aided colleges which
have been contributing their mite in educating the youth of the
State since the past 30 years.
The committee expressed deep concern that the Govern-
ment has not taken up any step to fulfill the demands of these
teachers although they had staged different agitations.
JSCC further said that the academic career of thousands of
students of these six colleges would be in jeopardy if the aided
teachers resign enmasse or stage cease work stir.
