NPF appeals

The Manipur State Unit of Naga People's Front has today appealed to the Naga Students' Union to revoked its decision of boycotting the MLA of Chandel, ST Victor Nunghlung for the involvement of his son in an incident on November 12, where the President of Naga Students' Union of Chandel was brutally assaulted while trying to rescue a girl from the hands of the son of the MLA, said a release.
In the statement, the front convinced the student union that the said MLA had expressed his disappointment in a telephonic conversation with the President of the NPF over the violent act of his son and also gave the assurance of necessary legal against him.
In this circumstance, they appealed the student group to review and lift the boycott on grounds of good faith and humanity, reports the release.
