There is neither any provision nor criteria for providing reimbursement to State Government employees and their dependents who wish to go abroad for medical treatment, stated Health Minister Phungzathang Tonsing in the State Assembly today.
Replying to a query put up by Th Shyamkumar, Phungzathang added that the Health Department has not yet recognised any hospital located abroad for introduction of medical reimbursement facility.
Nonetheless, medical reimbursement facility is available at RIMS, JNIMS, district hospitals and 17 private hospitals located in different States of the country.
Altogether 274 lecturers including 259 contract lecturers have been posted in Higher Secondary Schools located in hill districts of Manipur, Education Minister M Okendro stated in response to a query raised by Samuel Risom.
Replying to a poser raised by L Nandakumar, IFC Minister Ngamthang Haokip stated that a detailed project report has been submitted to the Ministry of Water Resources in order to reverse the process of siltation and rising of Nambul river bed.
