Ishika outpost, Imphal East Commando,
Post Commander Lolindro,
handed over an injured young
civet to People for Animals,
Manipur (PFA) today.
The
animal is being treated at PFA's
animal shelter, a statement
informed.
In the meantime, a day old
male foal which was given
birth by an unattended horse
at the premise of New Age
Club, Singjamei was pro-
vided medical treatment by Dr
Devkishore of Claws and
Paws Clinic and PFA with
the help the club.
The team
however could not save the
animal despite its effort.
PFA has recorded seven
pony deaths in and around
Imphal in just two months.
Most of these deaths were
caused by vehicle accidents.
