BTES appeals student bodies

Booth Tucker English School, (BTES) Jiribam has appealed the All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU), District Committee Jiribam; Manipuri Students Federation (MSF), Special Branch; Democratic Students Alliance of Manipur (DESAM), Local Council and Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA), Jiribam Branch to lift the ban imposed on BTES in the interest of the student community.
A Statement released by Head Mistress, Kungi Singson of Booth Tucker English School, (BTES) Jiribam said that the school was closed on the November 4 and 5 last on account of official visit of the Salvation Army Mission leaders.
The closure of the school during the two days had no relation with the 48-hour bandh called by JAC, PTMPRI on November 4 and 5 last, said the statement and added that the misunderstanding between the school authority and the various student bodies was a pure case of coincidence.
