Imphal, November 16 2014 :
Some Japanese families paid homage to their departed soldiers killed in the Second World War at the Indian Peace Memorial, Maibamlotpa Ching today.
The Japanese officials who came to Manipur and paid homage to World War II Japanese soldiers were Ikeda Masayuki from Japanese Ministry of Welfare, Yasuhiro Sensho, First Secretary, Embassy of Japan and Tasuko Seo, Second Secretary, Embassy of Japan.
The 2nd World War Imphal Campaign Foundation felicitated the function which was also participated by students of the Centre for Japanese Language Studies.
