Imphal, November 05 2011:
Denouncing Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BSEM) for giving away the contract work of printing the prescribed text books to outside firms as a deliberate attempt to deprive the livelihood of the local printing presses and their staff, All Manipur Offset Printers' Association has appealed for collective efforts to stop it.
In a statement, Secretary of the Association L Manjit Sharma lamented that while the governments in other states of the country are doing everything possible for the promotion of their respective native entrepreneurs, it is just the opposite in Manipur.
