Imphal, February 01 2014 :
Even as employees working under MSACS staged a sit-in-protest at Keishampat for the third day today, the Universal Caring Mission (UNICAM) has urged upon concerned authorities to work out a solution and bring the cease work strike of MSACS employees to an end at the earliest.
UNICAM secretary LC Somorendro said that people living with HIV should take ART drugs every day without any gap.
As such staff, doctors and counsellors working at ART centres should not be confined to the status of part-time employees.
It has only multiplied the difficulties of people living with HIV.
Somorendro appealed to all concerned to bring a solution to the cease work strike and end the misery being encountered with PLHIVs.
On the other hand MSACS employees have been agitating demanding service regularization.
