Assam Rifles saves deer fawn

Imphal, May 19 2022:
Sajik Tampak Battalion of IGAR (S) saved an abandoned and seriously ill deer fawn near Sajik Tampak village in Chan del district on Wednesday.
PRO IGAR (S) informed that an abandoned fawn, aged approximately four to five months was rescued by an AR column from the dense forest of Sajik Tampak.
The fawn has been handed over to the Forest Department at Yangen Ching village in Chandel district.
