Imphal, December 11 2009:
The film Forum Manipur (FFM) has decided to resume all activities connected with Manipuri film industry from December 17 onward.
Announcing this, General Secretary of FFM, RK Chandrakumar informed in a press release that the FFM has been compelled to take this decision as thousands of people, who are being given direct or indirect employment by the Manipuri film industry, are unable to keep the wolves from the door any longer.
The FFM calls upon the people of Manipur to bear with this decision.
Meanwhile, it further announced that the FFM will paste up wall posters at cinema halls and public places with slogans against July 23 incident and demanding a logical conclusion to the ongoing impasse.
