Rock python rescued

Imphal, November 05 2015:
The Kwatha Environment Management and Development Organisation (KEMADO) rescued a rock python from fishermen at Kwatha village.
The python was handed over to PFA, Manipur team.
The fishermen had reportedly caught the rock python in order to sell its gallbladder in Myanmar.
A juvenile monitor lizard was also handed over to PFA team by KEMADO.
Meanwhile, one Angom Basanta of Kwatha.
rescued a young leaf turtle and one elongated tortoise and handed them over to PFA, Manipur.
