AR briefs soldier aspirants, conducts medical camp

Imphal, May 04 2022:
Keithelmanbi Battalion of IGAR (South) organised a screening camp of local youths in Thoubal district on May 2 in continuation of efforts of the Assam Rifles to ensure enrolment of maximum youths from Manipur in the Armed Forces.
A total 144 boys and 31 girls of Thoubal and neighbouring districts were screened to ascertain physical standards suitability in recruitment rallies, informed PRO IGAR (S) .
In another release, the PRO said that Khuga Battalion organised a medical camp at Tongjang village in Churachandpur district on Tuesday to reach out to the local population and assist them in humanitarian aid.
