Imphal, July 02 2016 :
Manipur University Students' Union (MUSU)
has today warned of intense agitation in case the Examination
Controller and Departments concerned of Manipur University
fails to declare the pre-PhD Course work results within five days.
It has been almost a year that the research scholars have
been waiting for the six-month pre-PhD Course work results,
MUSU said in a statement.
Since final registration process is yet to be initiated by the
departments concerned, the research scholars are not able to
apply for Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship.
Delay in declaring the results of MA, MSc, MCom and
MLIS has put the academic career of the students at stake.
Results of 6th semester exams should also be declared early
so that students are given the opportunity to pursue their
further studies in or outside the State conveniently, MUSU
said.
It further urged the teaching staff of MU to discharge their
duties efficiently so as to make the university more efficient,
respectable and better.
