FICN seized

A combined team of BSF Lunglei and Preventive Custom of Aizawl seized fake Indian currency notes of Rs 9.70 lakh in denomination of Rs 1000 at Falkland, Aizawl on June 2 .
According to a statement, the FICNs were seized along with one Lalramchuana (26) of Aizawl.
The fake notes are of superfine quality which could be manufactured in Govt printing machinery only.
They are manufactured in Pakistan's ISI controlled printing machines and smuggled to India via Bangladesh, China, Dubai.
The currency was packed in bundles of 1 lakh each with seal slip of Axis Bank.
The seizure is the biggest so far not only in Mizoram, but the whole of NE India, the BSF statement said.
