The bandh which was a result of 'hindrance' given to public at Indo-Myanmar Gate No 1 by the 43 Assam Rifles was called by Hill Tribal Council, Moreh Youth Club, Kuki Student Organization, Kuki Women Union and Human Rights, All Moreh Traders Association since yesterday.
Supporters of the bandh thronged roads near Moreh Police IB and other places to stop vehicles.
They also gave no passage to AR personnel who were patrolling the area.
Meanwhile, bandh supporters have met the IG Police Jayenta, SP Tengnoupal Vikramjit, CO 8MR Somorjit and other officials at Moreh Police IB.
