Imphal, August 26 2015:
Only a week after Imphal-Dimapur road has been cut off by landslide at Phesama, Nagaland, the State is now facing scarcity of fuel.
Almost all the oil pumps in and around Imphal area remained shut today.
While majority of the stations remained shut, long queues were seen at a few oil pumps which remained open today.
However, petrol is readily available at black markets at the rate to Rs 80 - 90 per litre.
According to sources, loaded oil tankers which were stranded at Dimapur have started moving towards Jiribam today and is likely to reach Imphal shortly.
Price of diesel remained unchanged.
